In this dynamic role, you'll work onsite, guiding a caseload of approximately 40 students, delivering essential speech and language services while collaborating closely with educational staff and families.
What You'll Need:
- Active and valid Texas SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
- Expertise working with elementary-aged students
- Proven ability to conduct speech-language assessments, develop and implement IEP goals, and provide both direct and consultative therapy
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Reliable transportation to commit to a full-time, onsite schedule (40 hours/week)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for elementary students
- Develop individualized education program (IEP) goals tailored to each student's needs
- Deliver effective direct therapy and indirect services as part of a collaborative educational team
- Partner with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families to promote student success
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Actively participate in team meetings and support overall student growth within the school community
