Speech Language Pathologist in Irving, TX

Step into a rewarding contract role supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026–2027 school year. You’ll play a vital role in shaping young learners’ futures by delivering direct and consultative speech and language interventions that make a measurable difference in their academic and social success. This full-time, onsite opportunity is located just outside Irving, TX, and will focus on a caseload of approximately 40 students.
Key Qualifications:
- Possess an active Texas SLP License
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- School-based experience, particularly with elementary students, is highly desirable
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required for this diverse student population
- Demonstrated strengths in communication, organization, and documentation
- Must be available for a full-time, onsite schedule (40 hours per week; part-time not available)
- Reliable transportation for daily onsite attendance
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for elementary-aged students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Deliver both direct and indirect speech-language therapy services
- Collaborate closely with special education teams, classroom teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain detailed documentation to support student progress and compliance requirements
