Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state license or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience with pediatric populations, ideally in a school-based environment
- Strong diagnostic, assessment, and individualized treatment planning skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate with caregivers
- Excellent organizational and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, comprehensive assessments, and provide evidence-based speech and language interventions to students with diverse needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with instructional staff and families
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to support students’ educational accommodations
- Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans as needed, maintaining thorough and timely documentation
- Deliver direct and consultative services within the classroom setting, supporting both students and staff
- Educate and guide families and teachers on communication strategies to encourage student growth
- Keep abreast of best practices and continuing education within the field of speech-language pathology
