What We're Looking For:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and valid SLP license (Maryland or eligible for Maryland licensure)
- Prior experience working in pediatric settings or school-based environments
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
- Strong knowledge of IEP process and progress documentation
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Passion for supporting children in their educational journey
What You'll Be Doing:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans and therapy sessions
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and parents, to maximize student success
- Monitoring progress and updating IEPs as required
- Providing recommendations and training for educational staff to support student needs
- Maintaining thorough records in accordance with school policies and state regulations
- Advocating for students and delivering services in both individual and group settings
