Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current and valid SLP license appropriate for Maryland
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Experience working with pediatric and/or school-based populations is highly preferred
- Strong assessment, documentation, and case management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of students’ communication skills
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Deliver therapy services individually or in groups according to IEP goals
- Maintain accurate progress records and contribute to IEP meetings
- Collaborate with educational staff, support teams, and families to foster student growth
- Offer consultative support and training to teachers and caregivers on strategies and accommodations
- Remain current with best practices and regulatory requirements for school SLPs
