Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid North Carolina SLP licensure (required)
- SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF) status; supervision provided for CFs
- Prior experience or interest in working with students diagnosed with Autism (AU) and low cognitive disabilities is preferred
- School-based SLP, SLP-CCC, or SLP-School experience
- Able to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary educational team
- Strong communication, assessment, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services to a caseload of up to 35 students
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and diagnostic evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Maintain accurate progress documentation and complete required reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with families, educators, and specialists
- Offer support across multiple campuses in east or southern district areas, as assigned
