Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active Texas SLP License required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous school-based experience, especially at the elementary or middle level, is highly valued
- Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with staff, students, and parents
- Exceptional organizational and documentation skills, ensuring compliance and effectiveness in service delivery
What You'll Do:
- Carry out comprehensive speech and language evaluations for designated students
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals tailored to each child's needs
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy within school settings
- Collaborate with general and special education teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Actively participate in meetings and contribute insight to support the school community
