Desired Skills & Background:
- Valid licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged
- Experience in pediatric settings, particularly within schools or healthcare environments
- Strong ability to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with varying communication needs
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills across multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, diagnose speech and language disorders, and develop personalized intervention plans for K-12 students
- Deliver targeted speech therapy services in both individual and group settings, tracking progress and adjusting strategies as needed
- Work closely with teachers, families, and support staff to ensure student success across academic and social settings
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing professional insights and recommendations
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
