Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year candidates considered
- Valid state license (or eligibility) required for school-based practice
- Experience with pediatric, pre-K, or school-age populations preferred
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to create engaging, developmentally appropriate therapy plans
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for pre-K students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents
- Deliver direct therapy services in individual and small group settings
- Maintain timely and accurate progress documentation, reporting, and compliance records
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Provide guidance to support staff, teachers, and family members on strategies to enhance student communication
- Adapt therapy to diverse learning and cultural needs within the early childhood setting
