Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Avon Park, FL

Qualifications and Preferred Experience
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Hold (or eligibility for) a valid CCC or CFY credential
- Experience in school or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of IEP development and documentation
- Ability to engage with and support students from diverse backgrounds, K-12
- Effective collaboration and communication skills
- State licensure (or ability to obtain) appropriate for speech-language services
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose student speech, language, and communication difficulties
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals
- Conduct therapy sessions, both individually and in small groups
- Document progress and participate in the IEP process
- Provide resources and guidance to families and educators
- Maintain required records with accuracy and timeliness
