Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience in school-based settings is preferred
- Ability to work effectively with mild to moderate caseloads
- Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
- Comfortable managing an average caseload of 55 students split between middle and high school age groups
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted speech and language therapy to students at both middle school and high school levels
- Design individualized treatment plans based on student assessments
- Maintain regular progress notes and meet compliance deadlines
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, counselors, and family members to ensure student growth
- Mentor and coordinate with a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) assigned to each site on select days
- Support inclusive classroom practices and provide resources for staff as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts
- Work a consistent 37 hours each week, on campus at both indicated sites
