Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Assess students’ communication abilities and develop tailored therapy goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to support students’ academic and social success
- Conduct evaluations and document progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute recommendations for student support
- Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions as appropriate
