Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active and current CCC-SLP credentials
  • California licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
  • Previous school-based experience strongly preferred (internships and practicums welcome)
  • Solid understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with students, staff, and families
  • Compassion, flexibility, and cultural sensitivity

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech, language, and communication assessments to students with diverse learning needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s goals
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute meaningfully to multi-disciplinary teams
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes in compliance with school and district standards
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and support personnel to optimize classroom strategies and student outcomes
  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services in both individual and group settings
  • Stay current with evidence-based intervention strategies and professional development
