Your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist with your CCC is essential to foster growth and achievement among students. Enjoy hands-on collaboration, with a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) available onsite on select days to help implement therapy plans and support student progress.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current CCC-SLP certification
- Licensure to practice in California
- Previous school-based experience and comfort working with both middle and high school students
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students ages 11–18 with mild to moderate needs
- Assess, diagnose, and track student progress according to IEP goals
- Develop and implement intervention plans, tailoring strategies to varied age groups
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and the special education team
- Supervise and partner with a SLPA on days assigned
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation
