Key Qualifications:
- Current Washington SLP licensure
- Completion of fingerprinting process with OSPI (Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction)
- WA ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification or willingness to obtain it
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience evaluating and supporting K-12 students in a school setting
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students across K-12 grade levels within a bustling school community
- Conduct assessments and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure holistic student support
- Document progress, maintain compliance with state/federal guidelines, and participate in IEP meetings
- Adapt therapy plans and materials to accommodate a variety of student needs
- Foster a positive, supportive environment where students can build confidence and communication skills
