Key Qualifications:

  • Current Washington SLP licensure
  • Completion of fingerprinting process with OSPI (Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction)
  • WA ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification or willingness to obtain it
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience evaluating and supporting K-12 students in a school setting
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students across K-12 grade levels within a bustling school community
  • Conduct assessments and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure holistic student support
  • Document progress, maintain compliance with state/federal guidelines, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Adapt therapy plans and materials to accommodate a variety of student needs
  • Foster a positive, supportive environment where students can build confidence and communication skills
