Take your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to the beautiful Pacific Northwest, working in a dynamic school environment near Tacoma, WA. This onsite contract opportunity spans from September 1, 2026, through June 23, 2027, offering the chance to impact K-12 students in a supportive, collaborative setting. With a manageable caseload, you'll foster growth and communication skills in students who need your guidance the most.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid and current Washington SLP state licensure
  • SLP-CCC credential required
  • WA ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification, or willingness to obtain before start
  • Fingerprinting completed through OSPI (Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction)
  • Prior school-based SLP experience preferred, particularly with K-12 populations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with educators, students, and families

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver onsite speech and language therapy to students across K-12 grade levels
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and document student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to support student achievement
  • Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team consultations, and professional development opportunities
