The caseload primarily consists of elementary students, with a few PreK responsibilities, focusing on mild to moderate needs. This assignment offers a rewarding environment for an experienced, certified SLP who thrives in school settings.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active ASHA CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Recent experience working in school-based environments (elementary and preschool preferred)
- Comfortable managing a caseload of approximately 40 students
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Availability to work on-site in the Englewood area for the duration of the assignment
- Please note: No consideration for Clinical Fellows (CFs), SLPAs, virtual/remote SLPs, or independent contractors (1099 status).
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students with mild to moderate needs
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and track progress
- Oversee and fulfill compensatory services as needed
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and other school staff to support student success
- Document services provided and maintain compliance with school and district requirements
