Your expertise will help maintain continuity of care for students while collaborating with existing staff, tackling both current needs and compensatory services as the returning SLP transitions back after winter break. The caseload primarily consists of elementary students, with a few PreK responsibilities, focusing on mild to moderate needs. This assignment offers a rewarding environment for an experienced, certified SLP who thrives in school settings.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active ASHA CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
  • State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Recent experience working in school-based environments (elementary and preschool preferred)
  • Comfortable managing a caseload of approximately 40 students
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Availability to work on-site in the Englewood area for the duration of the assignment
  • Please note: No consideration for Clinical Fellows (CFs), SLPAs, virtual/remote SLPs, or independent contractors (1099 status).

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students with mild to moderate needs
  • Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and track progress
  • Oversee and fulfill compensatory services as needed
  • Collaborate with families, teachers, and other school staff to support student success
  • Document services provided and maintain compliance with school and district requirements
