This assignment will cover a full-time, school-based SLP position supporting an elementary caseload (with a handful of PreK students), all at a single site. You’ll make a genuine difference by stepping in for an SLP on medical leave and ensuring all students’ needs are met—not just “holding down the fort” but helping lead catch-up and compensatory services when your counterpart returns. Expect to handle a manageable caseload of around 40 mild-to-moderate students, providing both direct therapy and collaborative consultation.
Requirements:
- ASHA CCCs required (no SLPAs or Clinical Fellows)
- School-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Eligible for Colorado licensure
- Positive, flexible attitude and ability to work independently
- Commitment to providing high-caliber intervention and documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary and some PreK students
- Manage IEP documentation and participate in meetings
- Collaborate with staff and families for student success
- Support compensatory services in coordination with the returning SLP
