Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active ASHA CCC-SLP certification required
- State licensure (CO) in good standing
- Previous experience with elementary school caseloads, including mild to moderate needs
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage a caseload of approximately 40 students
- Commitment to delivering compensatory services and collaborating with returning staff
- Voco services and 1099 contractors are not permitted; Clinical Fellows (CFs) and SLPAs are not eligible
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students with diverse needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings, communicating progress with parents and staff
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive, supportive learning environment
- Facilitate compensatory services as needed when permanent SLP returns
This assignment is full-time through winter break, with the possibility of ongoing involvement in compensatory services. You will play a crucial role in assisting students and staff during a transition period and help young learners thrive in communication and academics.
