Key Qualifications:
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience in school settings, especially at the elementary level
- Skilled in providing direct therapy and compensatory services
- Comfortable managing a varied caseload, including PreK and elementary-aged students
- Confident working independently and collaborating with school staff and families
- Must meet legal requirements for W-2 employment (no 1099 contractors)
- Not accepting Clinical Fellows or SLP Assistants for this position
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy to students with mild to moderate needs
- Manage and carry out IEPs, including data collection and progress monitoring
- Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Provide makeup services as needed, collaborating with the returning SLP to maintain student success
- Maintain thorough documentation in alignment with district policies
