Choose from two rewarding Spring Semester caseloads:
- Work with 4th–8th graders (50 students in a single building with five scheduled reevaluations)
- Or, focus on a Preschool and Transition caseload (40 students, one reevaluation) with a variety of AAC devices, including Eyegaze.
These contract positions invite you to experience a range of leadership and therapy styles, making every day a fresh learning opportunity. The supportive environment is perfect for expanding your clinical skills—whether you hold your Certificate of Clinical Competence or are completing your Clinical Fellowship Year.
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred, but Clinical Fellows are welcome
- School-based SLP experience (SLP - CCC, SLP - CFY, SLP - School) valued
- Familiarity with various AAC devices (including Eyegaze)
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy for an assigned caseload (choose elementary or preschool/transition)
- Complete student evaluations and scheduled reevaluations
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support personnel
- Document progress and maintain thorough records
