Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Illinois SLP License required
- Professional Educator License (PEL) for the state of Illinois
- Open to SLPs holding the CCC credential or those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Prior experience in school settings is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders in accordance with IEP goals
- Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents to foster supportive learning environments
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and student records
- Support students of diverse backgrounds and needs, adapting strategies for optimal outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
