Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligible
- Experience in school-based settings, and working with varied student populations
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and deliver speech-language therapy services
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with guidelines and school policies
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Support student participation in both academic and functional activities
- Employ a range of therapy techniques and materials tailored to student needs
