What we’re seeking:
- Hold a valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Possess PEL certification
- Open to those with SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY backgrounds
- Previous school-based experience is valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Committed to evidence-based practice and student-centered care
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to a diverse K-12 caseload
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and contribute to eligibility determinations
- Develop and implement IEPs, monitor progress, and maintain documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to integrate therapy into classroom learning
- Participate in school meetings and multidisciplinary teams
