Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Aurora, IL

Your schedule will cover 21 hours per week, typically spread across three days—Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday—with the possibility of additional hours as needed. The working window is between 8 am and 3 pm, allowing for some flexibility to accommodate your professional and personal commitments. This assignment starts as soon as possible and continues through May 28th, 2027.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current, valid State of Illinois SLP license and CCC certification
- Previous experience working within a school-based environment
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Comfortable overseeing comprehensive speech/language evaluations and student progress for a broad K-22 age group
- Commitment to collaborative teamwork in a therapeutic education setting
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments, develop IEP goals, and implement targeted therapy sessions
- Support students’ communication skills to help them achieve academic and functional success
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and support staff, to deliver holistic services
- Maintain up-to-date records and documentation in compliance with state and school policies
- Provide guidance and supervision on related speech cases, ensuring the highest quality of care
