Speech Language Pathologist in Naperville, IL

This part-time role offers approximately 21 hours per week with the potential for additional hours. The primary schedule is three days per week—typically Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday—with flexibility between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm. The assignment runs from as soon as possible through late May 2027, providing the chance for meaningful, ongoing connection with students from kindergarten through age 22.
What we’re looking for:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- SLP-CCC credentials and valid state licensure
- Prior experience delivering speech therapy in school-based or comparable settings
- Ability to conduct thorough evaluations and develop IEP goals
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Collaborative mindset, comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Genuine passion for helping students with diverse needs achieve their goals
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments and evaluations for students with a wide range of communication challenges
- Designing and implementing individualized therapy plans
- Overseeing the full clinical process (no SLPA oversight duties, as this role must be filled by a credentialed SLP)
- Collaborating closely with educators, families, and related service providers
- Tracking student progress and maintaining detailed records
