Select the caseload that best fits your experience and interests:
- Work with approximately 50 students in 4th – 8th grade within a single building, with 5 reevaluations scheduled over the semester.
- Or, focus on preschool and transition-aged students, managing a caseload of about 40, with 1 scheduled reevaluation.
In both caseloads, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students utilizing a variety of AAC devices, including Eyegaze technology.
Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required).
- Active Illinois State License in Speech Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but not required; candidates currently in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are also welcome to apply.
- School-based SLP experience and familiarity with AAC devices are highly desirable.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
What You’ll Do:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech and language needs.
- Complete scheduled reevaluations as assigned.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation and records.
- Adapt interventions to meet the unique needs of all students, utilizing various AAC devices as appropriate.
This contract runs from February 1, 2027, through June 11, 2027, aligning with the school’s academic calendar.
