With two well-structured caseload options, you can select an assignment that matches your expertise and interests. The workday follows a 7:45 AM to 3 PM schedule, Monday through Friday, offering consistency and clear routines.

- Manage a group of approximately 50 students in grades 4–8 within a single building, with 5 reevaluations scheduled during the semester.
- Or, specialize in preschool and transition-aged students, serving a caseload of around 40, with just 1 scheduled reevaluation.
Both caseloads offer exposure to a variety of assistive technology, including cutting-edge AAC devices such as Eyegaze, enhancing communication opportunities for your students.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Illinois State Speech Language Pathologist License (or eligibility).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly preferred, though Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience in an educational setting, especially with AAC devices, is beneficial.
- Flexible, solution-oriented approach to diverse student needs.
- Strong collaboration, documentation, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted speech and language therapy, both individually and in groups.
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation and conduct required reevaluations.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers.
- Provide input on AAC device selection and training for staff and students.
This contract runs from February 1, 2027, through June 11, 2027, offering a defined period to make a measurable impact.
