Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid SLP license for the state (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs also considered
- Prior experience in school or pediatric settings a plus
- Knowledge of IEP processes and best practices in speech-language interventions
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy, both one-on-one and in small groups, supporting diverse learners
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives
