School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Middletown, Maryland

We're seeking two dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to serve school-aged children, whether you're a seasoned CCC-SLP or a talented SLPA with strong experience. Each contract position provides the opportunity to support a caseload of approximately 50 students in dynamic settings, working closely with other passionate educators and support staff.
One assignment runs from August 17th through June 9th on Salem Ave, while the other begins September 15th and is expected to continue at least through January 31st (with potential to extend) on Marshall Street. Flexible scheduling is available: enjoy a traditional 8-hour day, 5 days a week, or opt for a 4-day schedule to fit your needs.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Active SLP license for Maryland; CCC-SLP preferred, but experienced SLPA candidates are welcome
- Previous school-based experience highly valued
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to supporting diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students on your caseload
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy sessions and monitor student progress
- Document services and outcomes efficiently and accurately
- Engage families and school personnel in the therapy process
