Position details:
- Position #1: August 17th through June 9th
- Position #2: September 15th through January 31st (with potential extension)
- Full-time: 8-hour days, 5 days a week (option for 4 days available)
- Service locations: Salem Ave and Marshall Street buildings
Essential qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field required
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience in school-based settings highly valued
- Will also consider experienced SLPAs
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Adept at managing a caseload of approximately 50 students with varying communication needs
Key responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based speech, language, and communication therapy to students
- Conduct assessments, interpret results, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all district/state guidelines
- Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student success plans
- Offer support and education to parents, caregivers, and staff
