School Speech Language Pathologist - Frederick, Maryland

You’ll work full-time, with the flexibility to choose between five or four days per week, supporting a caseload of approximately 50 students. Position #1 starts August 17th and runs through June 9th, while Position #2 begins September 15th and extends through January 31st, with the possibility of an extension. Assignments are conveniently located within established schools in the area, ensuring a supportive and engaging atmosphere.
What we’re looking for:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; however, candidates with strong SLPA experience are encouraged to apply
- Eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or SLPA
- Prior experience in a school setting is highly valued
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Enthusiasm for student-centered, inclusive practices
Your responsibilities:
- Conduct speech/language assessments and develop individualized intervention plans
- Deliver therapy services to a diverse student population in individual and group settings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to optimize student success
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP development and compliance
- Provide support and resources for classroom strategies to foster communication development
