Key Qualifications:
- Active Maryland SLP License required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates, and teletherapy experience are welcomed
- Background in pediatric therapy, including evaluation and treatment of school-aged children
- Strong understanding of IEP processes, school-based documentation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication skills suited for partnership with educators, families, and students
- Experience in both healthcare and educational settings is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and develop treatment plans for K-12 students
- Deliver direct therapy services, both individually and in groups, adjusting interventions to each student’s needs
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, goals, and session notes
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers and parents to support students’ academic and social success
- Provide services through in-person or remote platforms, ensuring high-quality care regardless of the delivery method
