Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active SLP license in Maryland
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- School-based SLP experience preferred, particularly with K-12 populations
- Strong organizational, collaboration, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt services for a diverse caseload
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students across multiple grade levels (K-12)
- Evaluate, diagnose, and implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintain comprehensive documentation in compliance with state and school policies
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to address student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and ongoing progress reports
- Consult with school personnel to foster communication-rich environments
