Speech Language Pathologist in Hagerstown, MD

Two Speech-Language Pathologists are needed for school-based assignments supporting approximately 50 students each. These positions offer structured support and a collaborative environment.
One contract runs from August 17th to June 9th, while the second spans September 15th through January 31st, with potential to extend. Both assignments are full-time, featuring five 8-hour days per week; a four-day schedule can be considered for flexibility. Caseloads are school-based, supporting communication development and educational achievement.
Desired qualifications:
- Hold ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or be an experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Background in school-based SLP roles, familiar with educational IEP processes and documentation
- Strong assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring skills for diverse elementary populations
- Effective communication, teamwork, and adaptability within a multidisciplinary educational setting
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as required
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation aligned with school and district requirements
- Contribute to team meetings, IEP development, and ongoing student success initiatives
