School Speech Language Pathologist - Thurmont, Maryland

Position #1 runs from August 17 to June 9, while Position #2 begins September 15 and continues through January 31—potentially extending further. Both roles are full-time—8-hour days, 5 days per week—with some flexibility for a four-day workweek, ensuring a positive work-life balance. You’ll have the opportunity to work with a manageable caseload of approximately 50 students, providing support and interventions essential to their academic success.
Position Details:
- Open to licensed SLPs (CCC required, school-based experience preferred)
- Experienced and qualified SLPAs will also be considered
- Flexibility for full-time schedules, with potential for a 4-day workweek
- Caseload of around 50 students, providing direct therapy and supporting IEP goals
- Positions available at Salem Ave and Marshall Street locations
What You’ll Do:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with educational standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress reports
