Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school or similar settings
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Current ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFY may be considered
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop intervention strategies, and implement therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to facilitate student progress
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, evaluations, and progress reports in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights to support student outcomes
- Adapt and modify therapy plans as needed to best address each child’s needs
- Promote a positive and supportive atmosphere for learning and development
