Qualifications/Preferred Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in Virginia
- Experience in school-based or pediatric SLP settings
- Proficiency with evaluation, diagnosis, and development of individualized treatment plans for school-aged children
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement personalized therapy plans targeting individual student goals
- Deliver direct, in-person therapy sessions and monitor progress
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support students’ academic and social development
- Maintain accurate records and manage required documentation
