Qualifications/Preferred Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in Virginia
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric SLP settings
  • Proficiency with evaluation, diagnosis, and development of individualized treatment plans for school-aged children
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
  • Develop and implement personalized therapy plans targeting individual student goals
  • Deliver direct, in-person therapy sessions and monitor progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support students’ academic and social development
  • Maintain accurate records and manage required documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and professional development sessions as needed
