Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Midlothian, VA

As a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), you will work closely with a supervising SLP to deliver direct therapy and contribute to assessments. The hiring team has full supervision in place, ensuring guidance and mentorship as you support students’ communication needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication or related field (required)
- Current or eligibility for SLPA state licensure
- Previous school-based experience is a plus, though not required
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, engaging student environments
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to K-5 students under SLP supervision
- Assist with speech and language assessments and documentation
- Carry out IEP-driven goals and support progress monitoring
- Maintain accurate and timely records on student performance
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to an enthusiastic school culture
This position offers paid hours for all time worked within the contracted timeframe, including indirect hours and team meeting participation.
