Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Danville, VA

What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid state license or eligibility to practice as an SLP in the state
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations
- Familiarity with IEP processes and school documentation requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to providing in-person therapy
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students’ needs
- Provide direct, in-person therapy sessions focused on improving speech and language abilities
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
