Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with pediatric and/or school-based caseloads preferred
- Knowledgeable in evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with educators, families, and other school professionals
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to individual student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, in-person therapy sessions to students with diverse speech and language needs
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor and document progress, maintaining thorough and accurate records
- Collaborate closely with teachers and parents, providing strategies for speech and language support in the classroom
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the ongoing development of educational and therapeutic goals
- Engage in school activities and serve as a resource to staff on communication disorders
