Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Georgia SLP License or GaPSC Certificate (either sufficient initially; both required eventually)
- Open to Speech-Language Associates (with GaPSC certification); SLPAs are not accepted
- Experience supporting students in a school-based setting preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, parents, and students
- Comfortable committing to a 37.5-hour workweek for the entire school year
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver onsite speech and language therapy services for school-aged students
- Conduct evaluations and assessments as needed (specific assignment details forthcoming)
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to student needs
- Document progress and maintain compliance with all state and federal guidelines
- Work in partnership with educators and support teams to foster student achievement
- Attend IEP meetings and offer consultation to parents and teachers as required
