Key Qualifications:
- Current Texas SLP license required
- Fluency in ASL or DHHT certification
- Prior experience working with DHH (Deaf and Hard of Hearing) students preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
- Completed TEA fingerprinting (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
- Commitment to upholding high standards of care and supporting diverse learners
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapy services to students in the DHH program, focusing on individualized speech and language needs
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement effective treatment plans
- Foster communication and language development within a supportive, linguistically rich environment
- Maintain documentation in accordance with school district policies and state guidelines
- Engage with parents, educators, and support staff to maximize student outcomes
