Situated in a supportive school environment, you will work with students from kindergarten through eighth grade across two welcoming campuses—Liberty Elementary and Liberty Intermediate/Middle School. These school buildings are conveniently located within easy walking distance of each other. In this contract position, you will play a crucial role in fostering communication and growth for approximately 90 students.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology license and SLP-CCC certification required
- Previous experience working in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Background supporting diverse caseloads of K–8 students
- Ability to plan and implement individualized therapy programs
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning atmosphere
Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation for compliance and reporting
- Provide engaging intervention sessions in both Liberty Elementary and Liberty Intermediate/Middle, splitting your schedule between the two buildings
- Empower students in group and individual settings to achieve communication goals
This assignment runs from August 10, 2026 through the first week of November 2026. You will have flexibility to create your own daily schedule within the 7-hour workday (plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch), optimizing your workflow while meeting the needs of your students.
