Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP in schools
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred, especially with K–8 populations
- Strong collaborative skills to work with teachers, families, and administration
- Ability to manage and prioritize a caseload of approximately 90 students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency issues
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and district protocols
- Facilitate communication and support with families and educators
- Move easily between buildings to maximize service delivery and student outcomes
