This role features a balanced, predictable caseload of approximately 90 students. You’ll enjoy autonomy in shaping your daily schedule within a 7-hour workday, giving you flexibility while collaborating with dedicated school teams. The elementary and intermediate/middle buildings, situated across the parking lot from each other, make transitioning between sites easy and efficient.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working in school settings, especially with students ranging from kindergarten to eighth grade
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to split time effectively between multiple school sites and manage a diverse caseload
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to assigned students per IEP requirements
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and progress monitoring
- Maintain detailed documentation and adhere to all school and state guidelines
