Elementary School Speech-Language Pathologist

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based, contracted position near Merrillville, IN for the 26/27 school semester. This role provides the opportunity to make a meaningful difference to elementary and middle school students.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active Indiana Speech-Language Pathology license for school settings (SLP-CCC and School SLP credentials required)
- Experience with elementary and/or middle school student populations
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage caseloads of approximately 45-55 students
- Commitment to providing therapy on-site (remote options are not available for these positions)
Employment Type:
- Full-Time
Work Hours:
- 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 37.5 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, intervention, and therapeutic services to students in either elementary or middle school settings
- Develop and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student progress
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and team consultations
- Support a positive and inclusive learning environment
