This position spans the academic year from August 25th through May 22nd, 2027, supporting two closely-located schools. With 30 hours per week onsite, you’ll help foster communication growth and academic success for a diverse group of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct student assessments and develop individualized goals to foster student growth.
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services and manage a caseload of 34 students.
- Oversee case management responsibilities, including drafting IEPs 7–10 days prior to meetings.
- Coordinate and facilitate your own IEP meetings alongside school teams and families.
- Maintain detailed records and communicate progress with stakeholders.
- Organize and prioritize daily tasks with strong self-sufficiency and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with educators and staff to ensure comprehensive support for each student.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Active Oregon State SLP-CCC license required.
- Background working in school settings as an SLP or SLPA is highly desirable.
- Experience with IEP management, student goal setting, and progress assessment.
- Ability to case manage independently and coordinate meetings.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with staff, students, and families.
