Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based

We are hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based position supporting K–12 students in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will assess speech and language needs, deliver direct therapy, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support communication success across all grade levels.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and diagnostics for K–12 students.
Develop, write, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with measurable communication goals.
Provide direct individual and small-group therapy addressing articulation, language, fluency, and AAC needs.
Collaborate with special education staff, general education teachers, and parents to support classroom generalization.
Track student progress and participate in annual IEP and eligibility meetings.
Requirements:
Licensure: Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License and Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP Endorsement.
Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (CFYs with strong school background welcomed to apply).
Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
