Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Professional Educator License (PEL) active or eligible to obtain
- SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, and experience in school settings highly valued
- Proficiency or experience with AAC devices preferred
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration abilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments and individualized speech therapy to students in both resource and general education settings
- Develop, implement, and adjust treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure the best outcomes
- Maintain meticulous records, progress notes, and required documentation
