School Speech Language Pathologist - Broomfield, CO
Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting early childhood and elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This engaging role works across two local sites, delivering vital speech and language services to students from pre-K through 5th grade. You will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance communication outcomes and academic access for your caseload.
In this position, you'll work a consistent 40-hour week, managing a caseload of approximately 50-55 students. You'll have the opportunity to utilize your clinical expertise in a meaningful school-based setting while contributing your skills to Child Find evaluations, supporting students' growth from the very first step of identification through impactful intervention.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience in schools and working with early childhood and elementary age groups required
- Strong collaboration and organizational skills
- Knowledge of Child Find evaluation processes
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and deliver therapy to students in pre-K through 5th grade
- Manage a caseload of 50-55 students, ensuring all receive individualized, evidence-based services
- Complete Child Find evaluations and participate as a valued team member in multidisciplinary meetings
- Develop and implement IEP goals, maintain documentation, progress notes, and timely communication with caregivers and staff
- Work across two designated sites, offering consultative services to teachers and supporting inclusive classroom practices
