ProCare Therapy is seeking a qualified Educational Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time contract opportunity supporting schools throughout West-Northwest Washington for the 2026-2027 school year. This position provides the opportunity to support students across multiple school locations by identifying communication needs, developing effective intervention plans, and collaborating with educational teams to improve student outcomes. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting special education programs and a passion for helping students develop successful communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, identify, and support students with communication disorders within special education programs.
  • Participate in eligibility determinations and placement decisions for students receiving speech and language services.
  • Provide speech-language assessments and develop appropriate recommendations based on student needs.
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Provide consultation and collaboration with teachers, administrators, special education staff, and families.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records related to evaluations, services, and student progress.
  • Provide speech-language services across multiple assigned school locations within the ESD 114 Region.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid Washington State ESA Certificate for Speech-Language Pathologist required.
  • Valid restraint certification required.
  • Clinical Competence Certificate (CCC-SLP) preferred or ability to obtain.
  • Experience equivalency accepted as applicable.
  • Licensing assistance available for qualified candidates.

Experience:

  • Previous experience working within special education programs preferred.
  • Experience with school-based speech-language services, evaluations, and IEP processes beneficial.
  • Experience supporting students with a variety of communication needs preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology practices in an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to supporting students with diverse learning and communication needs.
